BEYONCÉ 

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Beyoncé is one of the most iconic singers and one of the most successful women nowadays.

In the 1997 she founded the “Destiny's Child”,an American girl group, whose members were Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams, and their first self-titled album was released in 1998. The group had an incredible success thanks to Beyoncé, who wrote most of the hits by the group such as “Say My Name”, “Indipendent Women” and “Survivor”, probably the most famous song from Destiny’s Child.

Top charts were dominated by Destiny’s Child at the beginning of 2000s and Beyoncé affirmed her as a famed pop star when she released her first solo album, “Dangerously In Love” (2003), which won five grammys and included the  hit single “Crazy In Love”, one of the most iconic songs of 2000s, featuring the rapper Jay-Z, her future husband.

In 2016, Beyoncé released her 6th solo album, called “Lemonade”. With this project, the artist introduce again the concept of “Visual Album”, like in 2013 with the album “BEYONCE’”, re-affirming her aim of

communicating by visual and musical pieces. Therefore Lemonade is either an album and a short film.

“I was given lemons and I made lemonade.” She affirms in the short film.

The LEmonade video is about betrayal, pain and forgiveness, in a sort of journey through the artist's femininit.  people Have Seen not too veiled allusions to the infidelities of her husband, so The fanbase has tried to identify "Becky with good hair," That the singer cites in the song "Sorry", but focusing on this side of the album means to miss the more interesting part of lemonade:It's the story of a black woman's life enriched with feelings, emotions and (good and bad) experiences that are a part of her (and every black woman) life.

Beyonce' won a grammy for this album on the 2017 grammy awards on february 12th and she also performed two songs taken from the album, in spite of her pregnancy. the performance, a medley of "Love Drought" and Sandcastles", got herto a standing ovation of the staples center audience.
